The required press tonnage is small, and the forging structure is uniform and fine, which truly realizes the small equipment to prepare large forgings; Therefore, the near isothermal forging technology is an economical and feasible process to prepare high-performance powder alloy forgings and large complex structural parts. In general, the temperature of the mold is 40 ℃. In the process of multi heat production, the repair temperature between forging heats is room temperature. Before the next heat production, the mold needs to be reloaded, heated, disassembled, and so on. The impact center of the mold after the last heat treatment and this heat treatment usually does not coincide completely.
The advantages of die forging are as follows: first, it has high production efficiency, the metal deformation is carried out in the die chamber during die forging, so the ideal shape can be obtained quickly; Second, the forging with complex shape can be forged during die forging, and the streamline is more reasonable, so as to improve the service life of the parts; Third, the size of die forging is relatively accurate, the machining allowance is small, and the surface quality is also good. Save metal materials, reduce the workload of cutting, and in the case of large enough batch, can reduce the production cost of parts.
So far, there is no report about the effect of double aging system on the strength, plasticity and toughness of spray formed aluminum alloy wheel hub forgings. In this paper, a self-developed full-automatic controlled reciprocating spray forming technology and industrial specification device are used to prepare large-size aluminum alloy ingots with diameter of mm. The wheel hub forgings are made by hot extrusion and secondary forging. After two-stage solution treatment, two-stage aging treatment is carried out. The mechanical properties and electrical conductivity under different time effect systems are tested, The effects of two-stage aging treatment on mechanical properties and electrical conductivity of hub forgings in different sampling directions were studied.
